Easiest Process of Certificate Correction:
- Search on Google and find out the official website of your board. Write ‘Board Name’ Education Board in your browser’s search bar. For example- if you’re looking for the Rajshahi board website, it’ll be Rajshahi Education Board. For the madrasah board, it’ll be the madrasah education board.
- When your search results appear, click on the first website that appears and search for online certification correction or online application tabs.
- After clicking it, you’ll discover an option>> নাম ও বয়স সংশোধনের আবেদন. Click it you’ll see আবেদন ফরম.
4. Click it and find a form for correcting your certificates. Now fill out the form in English, attach your image and choose the examination. If you have the same error in all of your certifications, select all.
But if you have an error in just one of your certificates, you need to select that specific exam. For example, SSC or HSC.

➔ দূতাবাসের প্রত্যয়নপত্র ( প্রযোজ্য ক্ষেত্রে )মাইগ্রেসন সনদ ( প্রযোজ্য ক্ষেত্রে )
➔ নম্বর পত্র ( প্রযোজ্য ক্ষেত্রে )
➔ SSC/সমমানের সনদ ( প্রযোজ্য ক্ষেত্রে )
➔ পাসকৃত শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের সংশ্লিষ্ট বোর্ডের অনুমতিপত্র ( আবশ্যক )
6. Make sure all information you provide is absolutely correct. Then check the condition box below and submit your form.
7. After submitting the form, you’ll be given an application. Print or download it for future use.
8. Now you have to pay a specific fee in 7 days. You can pay it using Sonali bank, cards, or mobile banking like BKash, Rocket etc.
9. Click Sonali slip for payment.
What To Do If You Have More Than One Correction To Make?
Suppose there are spelling mistakes in your name and your father’s name. Then what should you do? Don’t worry; you can ask to correct all these mistakes in just one application.
Keep all your certificates and other documents ready that you might need in your board interview. Make sure to keep them prepared beforehand. Also, if your previous board exam certificates have no errors, you might need to show them in the interview.
Important Notice for Outside Dhaka Board
If you are not included in the Dhaka board, there is an extra step you need to follow for your certificate correction.
You have to do an affidavit and post an ad (সংশোধনী) in a newspaper. It’s a prerequisite you must need to follow if you’re not from the Dhaka board.
নাম ও বয়স সংশোধনের জন্য কি কি কাগজপত্র লাগবে :
১. নোটারী পাবলিক (ঢাকা বোর্ড বাদে)
২. পত্রিকায় বিজ্ঞাপন (ঢাকা বোর্ড বাদে)
৩. নিজের নাম ও বয়স সংশোধন হলে নিজের জন্ম নিবন্ধন (আবশ্যক) এবং NID/পাসপোর্ট (ঐচ্ছিক) থাকলে ভালো।
৪. বাবার নাম সংশোধন হলে বাবার NID/পাসপোর্ট (আবশ্যক), আপনার জন্ম নিবন্ধন (আবশ্যক)
৫. মায়ের নাম সংশোধন হলে মায়ের NID/পাসপোর্ট (আবশ্যক), আপনার জন্ম নিবন্ধন (আবশ্যক)
৬. JSC এক্সাম থাকলে অবশ্যই PSC সার্টিফিকেট লাগবে।
৭. JSC ছাড়া SSC ও HSC সংশোধন করা যাবে না। অর্থাৎ আপনি সর্বপ্রথম যে বোর্ড বা পাবলিক এক্সামটা দিবেন সেটা আগে সংশোধন করতে হবে। যেমন: PSC > JSC > SSC > HSC
৮. একই বোর্ড হলে, একই আবেদনে JSC, SSC, HSC পরীক্ষার তথ্য সংশোধন করতে হবে (যাদের জন্য প্রযোজ্য)। একজনের জন্য একাধিক আবেদন করা যাবে না। আর অন্য বোর্ড হলে সর্বপ্রথম যে বোর্ডের এক্সাম দিয়েছেন, সেই বোর্ডের টা সংশোধন করবেন। যেমন: JSC কুমিল্লা বোর্ড হলে, আগে কুমিল্লা বোর্ড, তারপর SSC ঢাকা বোর্ড হলে, ঢাকা বোর্ড, এবং HSC ময়মনসিংহ বোর্ড হলে, ময়মনসিংহ বোর্ড, এভাবেই সংশোধন করতে হবে ।
বিষয়টি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ :
১. জন্মনিবন্ধনটা ইংলিশ ভার্সন ও অনলাইন হলে সবচেয়ে ভালো হয়।
২. একই আবেদনে নাম ও বয়স সংশোধনের আবেদন করতে পারবেন নাহ, এই জন্য দুইটা আলাদা আলাদা আবেদন করা লাগবে, যেমন:
১. নাম সংশোধন ও
২. বয়স সংশোধন
How To File An Affidavit
For changing any kind of information like your name, date of birth, address, and anything else, you have to undergo a non-judicial affidavit. An affidavit means making a statement and declaring that all the facts stated are absolutely authentic.
You can submit your affidavit oath to any authorized administrator; it can be Notary, Magistrate, or someone appointed by the government.
Before presenting your affidavit to the administrator, you need to follow the below steps-
- Depending on your subject, buy a non-judicial stamp paper that may cost 150 to 500 taka.
- Write down the subject matter, Full name, Address, Parents’ Name, Voter ID No, Age, Religion, and other details.
- Include the date of execution and sign the paper.
- Also, attach a formal and attested passport-size photo.
You have to perform the whole affidavit process before an advocate and get his signature. In court, you may ask to read the whole paper so that they can verify the facts.
